Change and uncertainty can shake us, especially as children.
I know this, because I lived it.

I was born in Spain and lived there until I was 15. That’s when everything changed. My family moved to England, and suddenly, I was in a new country, surrounded by a language I barely understood and a culture I didn’t know how to navigate.

I remember the confusion, the fear, and how lonely it felt sitting in a classroom where I couldn’t fully understand what was being said. At 15, those feelings were overwhelming, too big for someone still figuring out who they were.

But what helped me through wasn’t school or systems, it was love.
The love I had at home became my anchor. My family, even while facing their own challenges, made our home a safe space, a place where I felt held, seen, and supported.

That sense of emotional safety gave me the courage to keep going, to sit my GCSEs with limited English, to face rejection and low expectations from others, and to tell my teachers “I can do better” when they predicted I couldn’t.

And I did do better.
I kept growing, because someone believed in me, and because I was surrounded by people who offered me the support to keep going, no matter what.

Now, as an adult working with children and families, I see how essential that kind of support still is. Not just for children — but for parents, too.

Because parenting is hard. It’s beautiful, yes, but also exhausting, overwhelming, and at times, lonely. Some days, you're doing everything you can, but it still feels like you're falling short.
I see you. I’ve felt that uncertainty and I want you to know you don’t have to do it all alone.

That’s why I created Nurturing Hearts.
A place where children are cared for with the same love, safety, and warmth I was lucky enough to receive. A space where parents can breathe, reset, and trust that their child is in good hands.

Through services like Drop-Off & Go at AvoCuddle Playroom, I offer more than childcare, I offer peace of mind, support, and heart even when you need a moment to take care of yourself.

Because here’s what I believe:
